Ben Peters

Ben oversees US Solar’s efforts in California, helping develop and manage projects to support the state's goal of adding another 20 Gigawatts of Distributed Generation by 2030 and 100% renewable energy by 2040. Ben has worked in the solar and storage industry since 2007, as an early employee of REC Solar, with the residential business acquired by SunRun and the commercial division acquired by Duke Energy. Ben has worked for several clean tech leaders, including SunEdison, Correlate Energy Corp (OTC: CIPI), and most recently lead the creation of Redaptive’s solar & storage offering. Ben lives in Petaluma (Sonoma County) California, and in his free time is the chairman of the city’s Climate Action Commission.

Ben graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a dual major in Economics and Business Administration.
