Marya Friedman

Marya brings over seven years of experience in renewable distributed generation (DG) to her role at US Solar. She previously worked at EDP Renewables, where she both acquired and financed DG solar and storage projects across 15+ states totaling 200+ MW. Now, she structures tax equity and debt with the finance team, helping to shepherd the energy transition with US Solar’s unique portfolio—projects that center community partnerships, low-income ratepayers, environmental stewardship, and long-term benefits to off-takers, investors, and the planet.

She holds a BA in environmental studies and American studies from Wesleyan University.
