Nicholas Rolstad

​As the Manager of the GIS & Site Selection Team, Nicholas is responsible for the site selection algorithms that help US Solar effectively identify potential community solar sites. Nicholas directs the management of geospatial data, development of GIS applications, and analysis of potential solar project locations. Nicholas began his career at US Solar in 2018 as a GIS Intern before spending 3 years as a GIS Developer creating applications and automating the geospatial systems that are core to the site selection process.

Nicholas has a B.Sc. from Montana State University in Geology and a M.Sc. from the University of Wisconsin in GIS & Web Map Programming.
